Moller – Maersk. During his keynote, Klaus will address the satellite industry and outline the networking/connectivity needs for the maritime transportation industry. His presentation will cover mobile connectivity beyond telecoms, the future of smart ships, IIoT, LTE, and 5G in the maritime space. He will also outline how LEO constellations and GEO satellites could help fulfill the future needs of his industry.
Klaus Bruun Egeberg leads the strategic development of Maersk’s technology and IT to deliver future customer-centric capabilities for one of the world’s largest shipping lines. Throughout his career, he has created ground-breaking products and platforms for the company. He is an experienced maritime industry executive, skilled electrician, programmer, project manager, technical manager and technological strategist. He is passionate about technology and how it can be used to create and shape the future.
Egeberg joins an impressive speaker lineup on which a large percentage are executives from companies outside the satellite industry such as Mastercard, Delta Airlines, USA Networks, DuPont, United Nations, Merck, AT&T, Morgan Stanley, U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Deloitte, Amazon Web Services, Southwest Airlines, IBM, NTIA, and more.
